Are you looking for a fun way to introduce a new language?

One Third Stories has you covered!

What makes our story boxes so great?

  1. Original stories with beautiful illustrations that start in English and gradually introduce another language.
  2. Audiobook links mean you don’t need to speak the language to introduce it to your child. Plus, audiobooks support pre-readers, reinforce vocabulary, and build comprehension skills!
  3. Activity books make practice fun! While children color, draw, create silly sentences, and connect the dots, they won’t even realize they’re reviewing vocabulary!
  4. Flashcards allow for independent or guided practice.
  5. Bonus games and activities reinforce the new language while promoting dexterity, social skills, and creativity!
  6. Certificates of Achievement in Story Boxes 6 and 12 to celebrate language accomplishments!
  7. Access to blog content for extension activities and insight into research on language learning!

Learn languages with stories…and more!

All of our story boxes include a beautifully illustrated story that starts in English and ends in another language, an audiobook, an activity book, flashcards, and other hands-on activities. At the heart of our stories is our Clockwork Methodology. Here’s how it works.

Our beautifully illustrated storybooks begin in English, capturing kids’ imaginations and providing a clear and familiar context.

Gradually, words from your child’s new language are introduced. The playful images help children remember the new words and phrases.

As the story progresses, new words develop into whole phrases, whole sentences and eventually whole pages in your child’s new language. Magic!
